★ UPDATE 2.13.2 — A NEW GALAXY
The galaxy has moved to a new map, and every planet has a new address. Flights, war points, espionage and tournament rewards have changed along with it.
✦ IN SHORT
• New map: a disc with three arms, every planet in a new spot, address X : Y : slot.
• The galactic core is closed to flights and settlement.
• Flights take longer — from +7% to +27%, and they burn more fuel.
• War points are calculated differently; fleet value in alliance wars is now 1.5 instead of 2.
• The shield after heavy losses has been removed.
• Each tournament now rewards a booster that matches it; «Shipyard Overdrive» and «Defense Overdrive» are new.
• The game is lighter and faster: images are 44% smaller.
✧ 1 · The new galaxy
• The galaxy is now a disc with three spiral arms. Stars glow across the whole galaxy and thin out gently towards the edge.
• Every planet has a new location, together with its moon. During the move, stronger players were placed closer to the centre and weaker ones closer to the edge.
• New address: X : Y : slot — the column and row of the system on the map, plus the planet's slot. It is shown this way everywhere: messages, reports, flights, player cards.
• A system now has 2 to 9 slots — a ninth slot has been added.
• The core is closed: the black hole and the belt of special systems around it cannot be settled, teleported to or reached by fleets. Bonus systems are not settled by regular players.
• The map grows on its own: once the open area fills up, a new ring opens.
• New players start at the edge of the open area, each in their own direction, instead of lining up in one sector.
On the map
Mini-map, bookmarks (up to 25), search and coordinate input, filters (including the new «Neutral», which hides systems without a single marker), fleet routes, attack radar, «Centre / Middle / Edge» belts, keyboard controls. The map opens on the system of your current planet.
➶ 2 · Flights
• Distance is measured on the new map. A flight to a neighbouring system takes about 7% longer than before, diagonally about 17%, the longest flights up to 27%. Fuel consumption is higher. Routes go around the black hole.
• A flight's colour shows what it means to you: your fleet is blue, a threat to you is red, a peaceful foreign fleet heading to you is green, other foreign flights are purple. This applies to the Flight Center, the Phalanx and alliance events; in the Flight Center and on the radar, threats are listed first.
• Combat mission icon in the Flight Center: before attacks are switched off it shows a countdown; while they are off it shows when they come back, or «Until manually re-enabled».
• The Phalanx scans in a circle: its radius in map cells equals its level.
• Teleport: enter X / Y / slot; it only moves you to free slots in open systems.
⚔ 3 · War points: the battle itself now matters
Before. War points depended on the enemy's losses, hostility, alliance war and the battle outcome. The target's power only mattered if your combat ranks were different.
Now. A battle multiplier has been added. It reflects how hard and how fair the fight was, and it is made up of several parts:
• Target power — a target weaker than 0.6 of your power gives less (down to ×0.4), one stronger than 0.85 gives more (up to ×1.7). Previously only for different ranks — now always.
• Rounds — new. 3 rounds is the norm. A one-round battle (the enemy wiped out at once) gives less — down to ×0.85; a long, hard-fought battle gives more — up to ×1.5.
• Target's combat record — new. The enemy's wins, losses and damage: a weak, often-beaten player — down to ×0.8; an experienced, successful one — up to ×1.5.
• Battle size — new. A large battle — up to ×1.2.
• Fighting outnumbered — new. If your side is weaker in forces — up to ×1.2.
• Repeated battles with the same player — previously the first 20 battles per week had no reduction, after that points fell to ×0.1 by the 100th battle, and alliance wars had no reduction at all. Now only the first 3 battles are free of reduction; after that it is gentle — half the points by the 43rd battle. In alliance wars the reduction is half as strong.
• Target already under fire — new. If other players fought the target more than 20 times in a week, it gives fewer points.
The battle multiplier ranges from 0.35 to 2.0. On top of it, as before, come the target's hostility, alliance war and the outcome (win ×1, draw ×0.75, loss ×0.5).
• Hostility — previously the highest level on the enemy side was used; now each opponent counts with their own.
• Inactive player in battle — previously reduced points (×0.2) only if the defender was inactive. Now it applies to everyone if any participant is inactive.
• No war points for battles against the training bot, against your own alliance, or battles without losses.
• Fleet value in alliance wars is 1.5 instead of 2. Loot is unchanged.
Tip. Hover over the war points in a battle message to see the multiplier for each part. The war points forecast in a spy report uses the same rules.
☢ 4 · Shield, hostility, espionage
• The shield after heavy battle losses has been removed. Previously a defender who lost most of their fleet and defense received a shield — not any more.
• Hostility: «War» is now the highest, fifth level; «Martial law» is the fourth. Players of low combat ranks gain hostility 2–6 times slower — the lower the rank, the slower.
• Espionage: the error is now shared within each section of the report (resources, fleet, defense, buildings, bonuses) and no longer cancels out when added up.
• A player on vacation can be spied on during the first 6 hours of their vacation. Previously not at all.
• If the target is much stronger in espionage (by 22 levels or more), the report may mix up the fleet composition: some ships are shown as another type, the total number stays the same.
• Espionage cost is based on the distance on the new map.
• Attacking a player who is too weak now gives a clear message: «This player is outside your combat corridor: they are too weak for your rank.»
☠ 5 · Zombies
• Inactive players develop faster (buildings, fleet and defense +300%, +5 queue slots, 50% discount) and build more defense.
• They never strike first. A zombie only retaliates — against whoever attacked it in the last 24 hours, and no more than once a day.
✪ 6 · Tournaments and rewards
The booster reward now matches the tournament (starting with the next tournament round):
• buildings — «Overtime Production»
• contracts — «Pact Payoff»
• ruins — «Ruins Riches»
• victories over Barbarians, Pirates and Devastators — «Precision Dismantling»
• resources and fleet in the Endless Expanse — «Explorer’s Luck»
• Dark Matter in the Endless Expanse — «Magnetic Trap»
• flights to the Endless Expanse — a random Expanse booster
New boosters: «Shipyard Overdrive» (fleet +200% and +300%) and «Defense Overdrive» (+100%) — for fleet and defense tournaments. Previously «Contract Experience» was given instead.
• The alliance tournament «resources in the Expanse» was actually a copy of the Barbarian damage tournament — fixed.
• Terraforming (alliance skill): +1 field for a new colony per level instead of +2.
• New players get 20 «Cruiser FL-1» and 15 «Destroyer FL-1» in Repair instead of 2 and 2.
• The 9th combat rank step rewards 1,000 Dark Matter.
• Senate, Arsenal and Modernization are locked while an attack is heading to any of your planets, not just the current one.
• Research 124 is now called «Search for stellar ore».
☰ 7 · Convenience
• «Diplomacy» window: espionage, friends, enemies, ignore list, revenge and your hostility in one place. You can also gift Antimatter to a friend from here.
• Shipyard: the triangle shows how cost-effective a ship is compared with the best ship in its group (combat fleet, civil fleet, defense, domes).
• «Not enough» messages are now always shown and name exactly what is missing: Dark Matter, Antimatter, Stellar ore or resources.
• Pop-ups at login open one after another, not all at once. Sections and windows switch smoothly, without flicker.
• Maintenance: a new screen with the expected return time and a chat; announcements arrive as a card with times in your time zone.
⚡ 8 · Faster and clearer
• Game images are 44% lighter, and section images load in advance — sections open faster, especially on mobile.
• The galaxy map loads at half the weight, and the browser remembers the world layout.
• Translations into all 30 languages have been checked against Russian: consistent names for ships, buildings and research; texts that existed only in Russian are now translated.
