Upgrade bonuses
The bonus applies for each upgrade level (positive ones boost, negative ones are the price for the bonus). How combat is calculated — section Combat system.
Upgrade leveling
The upgrade is leveled up by levels (up to 40). Each attempt is a chance: the higher the upgrade level, the harder it is, and the higher your level in Hostile (this sector — "Destroyers"), the easier it is.

Where to find
Parts and cores for this upgrade drop in the combat sector of the Expedition "Destroyers". The farther the point and the harder the battle, the higher the chance of valuable parts.
Arsenal slots — up to 14. The first 8 cost dark matter (the 1st is free, then rising up to 125,000 DM for the 8th). Another 3 unlock by beating the factions (Barbarians, Pirates, Devastators) to achievement stage 20 / 25 / 30 and cost 200,000 / 350,000 / 800,000 DM. The last 3 are bought with star ore: 500 / 1,500 / 4,500 SO. More on sectors — the Expedition.
