Ships are the foundation of military power in Xterium. The fleet is used for attacks, defense, reconnaissance, transporting resources, and expeditions into the Endless Expanse.
All ships are divided into classes: reconnaissance and special-purpose ships (probes, satellites, engineering ships, Death Stars), light, medium, and heavy fleets, as well as special ships. Each class differs in durability, attack, speed, and cost.
The designations LF / MF / HF in ship names refer to weight classes: LF stands for light, MF for medium, and HF for heavy. For example, “Cruiser LF” and “Cruiser HF” are the same type of ship in the light and heavy classes, respectively.

What you can do with a fleet
The fleet has several mechanics beyond direct combat — recycling, restoration, shield regeneration, selling, teleport and hauling. All values are from the game.
Recycling debris
After a battle, 50% of the destroyed ships' metal and crystal turns into a debris field. Transports (ship 203) sent on a recycle order gather it back.
Fleet restoration
After a battle up to 75% of your lost ships enter a restore pool — you can bring them back for dark matter. Works only for battles in the first galaxy and does not apply to expeditions.
Selling ships
Ships and defence can be sold back for 50% of their build cost. Daily limit ≈ 5% of your total fleet+defence points.
Fleet teleport
Jump Gates (building 43, moon-only) instantly move fleet and resources between two of your own moons — free, on a cooldown.
Hauling resources
The "collect" action pulls resources and fleet from all your other planets to the current one; transport works between your planets only.
