Do I need to download anything?
No. Xterium is fully browser-based: any modern browser on Windows, macOS or Linux. No clients, launchers, updates.
Which browser is recommended?
Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari or Yandex — all current versions work. We recommend Chrome for maximum performance on big galaxies.
How many resources does the game consume?
Xterium browser tab uses 100-300 MB RAM, like an ordinary modern site. CPU load is minimal — optimized for old PCs and netbooks.
Can I play from phone via browser?
Yes, mobile browser also works. But we recommend native apps: they're faster, have push notifications and better UI. See Mobile version.
Does progress save?
Yes, everything in the cloud. Closed tab, opened from another PC — continue from there. Progress between browser and mobile app syncs automatically.
