The bonus grows as the anomaly is upgraded: at each level it = base step × level, and at the maximum (600) reaches +50%.

Bonus growth by level

The bonus is linear: at level N it equals base step × N. Here is how much the anomaly gives at reference levels (values from the Planetarium code):

The further the level, the more expensive the next step (Dark Matter), but the bonus increment is constant — each level adds the same share.

Upgrade and overlock

The anomaly is chosen and researched in the Planetarium — for dark matter or antimatter, with a success chance. The higher the anomaly level, the stronger its permanent bonus.

Normal upgrade for Dark Matter (≈0.5 DM per level, the price grows), with a time cooldown. Up to 600 level.

Instant increase accelerated upgrading for Dark Matter and antimatter — without waiting for the cooldown.

Overlock (beyond 600) for star ore (25 SO per attempt): unlocks another up to 13 levels in three stages with a decreasing chance of success: stage 1 100% stage 2 75% stage 3 50%

Each planet and moon has its own anomaly and its own upgrading. The player's total bonus is the sum across all colonies (each has a maximum of +50%). Values are (Planetarium).
