Base rate from the game code: 1 Crystal yields 0.5 Deuterium; a payout coefficient of 0.95 is applied (a 5% fee), so effectively 1 Crystal → 0.475 Deuterium. For example, 1,000,000 Crystal turns into 475,000 Deuterium (the engine rounds the result down). This pair has no fixed volume cap — the per-transaction maximum depends on your Spaceport capacity. The reverse pair "Deuterium → Crystal" trades at a base rate of 1 → 2 (payout coefficient 0.95); a round trip returns ≈90.25% of the volume, losing ≈9.75%. The exact in-game rate may differ: the engine adjusts it to demand and trade volumes, while the fee always applies.
