Exchange at the Merchant: 1 Dark Matter → 100 Deuterium. Up to 500,000 Dark Matter per transaction.

Base rate from the game code: 1 Dark Matter yields 100 Deuterium; a payout coefficient of 0.9 is applied (a 10% fee), so effectively 1 Dark Matter → 90 Deuterium. For example, 500,000 Dark Matter turns into 45,000,000 Deuterium (the engine rounds the result down). Per transaction you can give at most 500,000 Dark Matter. There is no reverse exchange (Deuterium → Dark Matter) at the Merchant. The exact in-game rate may differ: the engine adjusts it to demand and trade volumes, while the fee always applies.

The exchange is available at the Trader. The base rate is set in the game code; the actual rate shifts slightly with demand and trade volumes. Dark matter exchange is limited by the amount per operation.
