Particle Accelerator

In brief: “Particle Accelerator” — a building of the “Premium” category in Xterium, available from the start of the game, maximum level — 50.

(data current as of 2026-05-22, game version 2.12.7)

After years of research on antimatter, scientists have finally invented a way to create Dark Matter. It consists in the acceleration of antimatter in the Particle Accelerator. But the work of the Particle Accelerator is hampered by the atmosphere of the planet, so it was decided to build it on the moon, where there is no atmosphere. Each level increases the protection of your moon from destruction by 20%

Description

Can only be built on a moon The Collider can only be built on a moon. It accumulates Dark Matter for up to 8 hours of idle time — collect it regularly, otherwise production stops after 8 hours.

What it is and why you need it

Particle Accelerator — a building from the “Premium” category in Xterium. Main effect — antimatter + energy + moon protection. An endgame building. Produces Dark Matter (the premium currency), energy, and moon protection. The most expensive building in the game.

When to build

Available from day one.

What to watch out for

  • Energy. The building produces energy itself — it powers mines and other consumers on the planet.

How to use

The Collider is your only source of Dark Matter (aside from premium purchases). Upgrade it first.

What improves production

Sources that boost this building. Open a source card to see the exact percentages and conditions.

Planet Anomalies 1

Planet features chosen and researched in the Planetarium (for dark matter or antimatter). Give a permanent percentage bonus to a specific effect for as long as the colony exists.

Boosters 1

Temporary boosters from tournament and quest rewards. Give a percentage bonus to a building's effect for a limited time.

If something is missing — where to look

Contextual alternatives for specific problems. Each block is a separate problem and the buildings that solve it.

What to build next
