An alliance in Xterium is not a "chat club" — it is the game's core mechanic: faction bonuses strengthen your whole empire, joint attacks decide wars, and alliance tournaments run permanently. Here is how it works. Every number comes from the game code.

Where the data comes from. Faction rosters, bonus counts and the tournament schedule are taken straight from the game engine (War of Alliances universe). Bonus cards live in the Alliances section of the encyclopedia.

Three factions

As it develops, an alliance picks one of three factions:

FactionBonusesProgression
Grabtors14up to level 200
Senteri14up to level 200
Talkors14up to level 200
  • The game has 42 faction bonuses in total — 14 per faction: 3 base ones and 11 that grow with faction level.
  • Faction level goes up to 200 — a high ceiling with years of room to grow.
  • Bonuses apply to every alliance member.

Joint attacks and war points

  • A joint attack (ACS) — several alliance players send fleets in one wave at one target. This is the main tool of large wars: a lone fleet is easier to intercept than a coordinated group.
  • War points are earned for the alliance's combat actions and reflect its military activity.

Alliance tournaments

Tournaments run permanently and in parallel — alliances have their own cycle:

  • The weekly alliance tournament — alliances compete across all 19 tournament disciplines.
  • The alliance division championship — every two weeks, participants are split into divisions of 100 alliances: you compete with peers, not giants.

FAQ

How many alliance factions are there? Three: Grabtors, Senteri and Talkors. Each has its own set of 14 bonuses.

What do faction bonuses give? Permanent boosts for every alliance member; 3 bonuses are base ones, the other 11 grow with faction level up to 200.

Do I have to join an alliance? No, but an alliance gives faction bonuses, protection and joint attacks — going solo is noticeably harder in wars and tournaments.
