Artifacts are rare Xterium items with special one-time effects. Unlike buildings and research, they do not have levels: each artifact provides a specific effect or bonus. They are obtained through special offers and by completing missions.
Here, artifacts are grouped by effect type: defense—planetary and imperial shields, which protect against attacks; planets and moons—free moon creation, a large planet upon colonization, and planet teleportation; acceleration and bonuses—a +100% bonus on antimatter purchases, a 30% extension of expedition and mining accelerators, and full anomaly research.

Artifacts are rare items with powerful effects: planet shields, instant moon creation, teleportation, doubled antimatter and extended boosters. They have no levels; you get them from “Offers” — the game's story and rotating bundles (and studying an anomaly has a rare chance in the anomalies section).

Questions and answers
How many artifacts are there in Xterium in total?
The game has 9 artifacts. They are split into 3 groups: Defense — 2, Planets and Moons — 3, Power-ups and Bonuses — 4.
What are artifacts in Xterium?
Artifacts are rare items with special one-time effects: shields, moon creation, planet teleportation, a bonus to antimatter and to boosters. They have no levels, and you get them through special offers and for missions.
What is the difference between a planetary and an imperial shield?
Both protect against enemy attacks. The planetary shield protects the planet, while the imperial shield is a more powerful player defense that can be turned on and off in the “Orbit” section.
What does the “Bonus when buying Antimatter” artifact give?
It gives +100% to the antimatter purchase amount — that is, it doubles the antimatter received. The artifact's progress grows with each antimatter purchase.
How does planet teleportation work?
The artifact lets you move your planet to another spot in the galaxy. After teleportation, a restriction on sending fleet applies for some time.
What are the moon and large planet creation artifacts for?
Free moon creation lets you create a moon in your own orbit without spending resources, and a large planet on colonization gives a planet with an increased number of building fields.
