“Target points” is the enemy fleet's strength, “Your fleet” is the recommended size. The real outcome depends on fleet composition and arsenal upgrades. The difficulty (the target's technologies) also grows with the point.

The enemy grows stronger at every point

With each point number the target's combat technologies all grow — so distant points need not just more ships, but a more upgraded fleet and arsenal upgrades. Bosses have their technologies boosted further.

The real outcome of a battle depends on your fleet composition and arsenal upgrade levels, not just on the number of points.

What drops

Reactor

Reactor

The main find — a part for improving arsenal upgrades. Drops at almost every point; the amount grows with the point number — up to 0,6× the point number per battle.

Class III core

Class III core — from bosses

Every 10th point is a boss: it gives several times more parts and a Class III core, the most valuable material for powerful upgrades. From the 2nd boss you also need the “Devastator Aggression” research.

Parts and cores are spent in the Arsenal.
