Ruins

In brief: The easiest combat sector: every point gives resources. Upgrades do not drop here, but you need Recyclers to carry the loot away.

Power and reward growth by point

The sector is a chain of 50 points. Each next one is unlocked by defeating the previous. The farther the point — the stronger the target, the bigger fleet you need and the larger the reward. Reference points (numbers); bosses (10, 20, 30, 40, 50) are highlighted.

“Target points” is the enemy fleet's strength, “Your fleet” is the recommended size. The real outcome depends on fleet composition and arsenal upgrades. The difficulty (the target's technologies) also grows with the point (in the Ruins it's the steepest).

The enemy grows stronger at every point

With each point number the target's combat technologies all grow — so distant points need not just more ships, but a more upgraded fleet and arsenal upgrades. Bosses have their technologies boosted further.

In the Ruins the target's difficulty grows noticeably faster than in other sectors — but it also starts the lowest.

Resources

For each victory — metal, crystal and deuterium. Distribution: Metal 47%, Crystal 36%, Deuterium 17%. The amount grows with the point number, and on bosses — roughly ×6.

Upgrades and arsenal parts do not drop in the Ruins — for those, head to the Barbarian, Pirate and Devastator sectors. To carry your loot, keep Recyclers in the fleet.
